I’ve been where you are Now
I’ve been where you are now.
I was working as a CNA and went to school to be an LPN. I heard about group homes, requested the information from the state, and sat on it for more than a year. I worked in Long Term Care, Hospitals and Home Health. I could barely afford to keep my head above water, deep in debt, tired, overweight, and felt underappreciated.
I knew that I had to do something different, or I would live my whole life working until I was burnt out. Something had to give. 3 months pregnant, with less than a $1000 in the bank and a prayer, we rented and opened our first 8 bed group home in 2005. In less than 6 weeks all of our beds were filled. 6 months later we opened our second. A year later we started a Home Care Agency and in 2009 we opened our training school.
In 2018, we opened our latest Homecare agency and grew it from $200,000 in revenue to more than 8 figures in just 3 short years!
Over the years, we have employed thousands of caregivers, and worked alongside RNs and Nurse Practitioners who all have the same thing to say – they are burnt out in their careers, underappreciated on the job, and without any hope of financial freedom.
For the last 5 years, after having worked with more than 50 start-ups, we have created a series of guides and courses that will guide you in your journey to Healthcare Entrepreneurship. Whether you want to start a Homecare Agency, a residential group home, or a CNA training school, we have the real-life answers you need that will take you from dreaming to actually being your own boss.
